Hi all Spanish living people, due to fly back to the UK for a week this Saturday and hoped someone could let me know a reliable day 2 test company to send out test kits and the cost please? Thanks in advance xx |

The cheapest firm on the government’s day 2 and day 8 list has been removed and the CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) has announced an investigation into its services. Expert Medicals sells the test kits for travellers for just £28, including postage and packing, which is far cheaper than the next cheapest provider on the list at £40. Expert Medicals has received an enormous numbers of complaints of tests and results not arriving on time. Until Wednesday 1 September the official government list of providers still listed Expert Medicals as working with the accredited laboratories Oncologica and Nonacus, as well as using its own lab. However, the list was then changed to say that its lab was ‘LY’. We checked, and no such laboratory is approved for Day 2 tests in the UK. After Which? informed the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), Expert Medicals was removed from the government list.

O dear i ordered 2 more for my sister and nephew a week ago, for there return from turkey this friday 8th Oct, will they still be able to complete there locator form in for entrance to the uk, ?? many thanks |

We’ve used expert Medicals twice this year, currently in PDI and no issues. test delivered within 3 days ready for our return. What they do with the test after I post it, I don’t care. I’ve carried out my requirements and will do lateral flows from home as well. |

I have been using A1Covid Testing in Cambridge/Norwich. Really good reliable service. I have done six flights this summer and no problems with the Day2 PCR tests. I have been paying £20 for the test, results normally back within 24 hours. |
