Just received this from tourism in GC

Dear Garstag

It is unknown if the hammocks will be available jet.

It is known that work is being done so that their management is assumed by the City Council.

Best regards.

Nope.

Been down today.

No kiosk 4, now number 6, shut.

No sunbeds or umbrellas.

Apparently it's a contractual problem with council.

Our lightweight excuse of an umbrella went for a tumble all by itself in the wind today.

Got it all figured out for tomorrow using bungee cords, empty water bottles and string.

If it takes off again, Liz goes with it.

I need to be free to help her get entangled.

improvisation…had this many times on windy Greek beaches, you can also use carrier bags filled with sand, tied with string from the handles to your brollie!

We arrive on Friday, weather looks good! cannot wait Mrs H x

Some brilliant sun shades on the beach.

Will take a look on internet and get Amazon to deliver to GC for when we next arrive.

Think somebody said last year it was due to unpaid bills to the council or something to that effect!!
