Spanish tuition for fabbers
Jump to: Newest in thread
Knowing and seeing that many open minded fab people go to Spain to enjoy the sunshine and have fun, I was thinking about offering Spanish private tuition whether online or in my place.
I think is another way for me as a single man meet females and couples and have fun.
I know that when you visit places in Spain you do not relate much with locals but I think it be nice if you could learn some basic Spanish to feel more comfortable and have more fun, even some naughty Spanish :p
What do you think? |

I first went to Tenerife in 1983 and a Spanish guy in work taught me all I ever needed

I actually think this is a really good idea, and whilst I don't speak much Spanish, at least I try, sometimes with hilarious consequences. Over the years I've learnt enough to get by, even if it's only on a very basic level and this kind of offer would have had me chomping at the bit a few years ago (still does, to be honest). However, I find it incredible that Brits go abroad expecting everyone to speak their language. Here's a decent offer to help educate those of us who go to Spain, and yet there seems to be very little interest. Come on people, show a bit of interest in this genuinely brilliant offer... |

When you’ve done a few lessons, will you let us know how it goes?

"The buggers speak that fast that all the words roll into one so my go to phrase is Yo no hablo espanol!"
Our amigos españoles say exactly the same about your English chitter-chatter.
Watching the receptionist here decipher (successfully) very thick Glaswegian earlier was rather impressive.
If you can learn to interpret Andalusian, then you've won at Spanish |

I know what you mean but I have plenty of experience teaching in Spanish when I arrive to Edinburgh |

Moved to Murcia permanently last year, and have picked up a lot from Spanish friends. Also the 16 yr old daughter could not speak a word and is now more or less fluent so again we learn from her. We've found that if Spanish folks can see you trying to talk to them they appreciate and help us too. |

There's a Colombian radio station called RCN out of Cali that I find is very good for getting accustomed to the language
You can get it on tune in radio app and other places |

I was speaking Spanish on La Gomera recently.
I spent 4 months travelling in South America right before Covid and picked up quite a bit there.
All in the present tense but enough to be understood and make conversation |

Spanish in Latin America is a little bit different than Spanish in Spain, I think you know |
