We are talking ourselves into taking a calculated risk & booking up for both Christmas and New year. Hopefully Venus Star....fingers crossed it'll happen.

Was talking with a bar owner last night and they predict a steady increase in visitors from September onwards ,with the Christmas and New Year being very busy, and I thing prices on Booking.com reflect that optimism

Yeah, we were discussing this. Prices are sharply rising again, but with less flight options as well. But as always, it's worth the premium to spend Christmas and new year there...

Yes. We where at Venus yesterday and Yasmina was having an animated conversation with someone over a stay, and they where number 16 on the cancellation list !

Zurich. NOT London.

We book one year till the next for New Year at Venus. Obviously we missed last year, but back there this year from December 27th to January 10th. X

We have already booked Venus December 28th - January 10th …..keeping everything crossed as last year it didn’t happen and we love that time of year in GC

We've went the plan 'B' route as Venus Star fully booked. Luckily we got an AirBnB private villa not too far from Yumbo Centre. Private garden as well for naked sunbathing, so all good. Even got great timed flights from Newcastle on the 23rd December and return on 06th January...
