Better than BrianAir who still think I am in the Canaries after cancelling my flight in March 2020 and leaving me to fend for myself.
Apologies to any Brian's |

In the first three months of this year, Jet2 were consistently the first airline to pull the plug on flights to/from Fuerteventura. Towards the end of March and with several of our friends left stranded on the rock by their actions, Ryanair at least managed to ferry all UK passengers back to Luton.
As far as the flying experience goes, is there genuinely any difference between Easyjet, Jet2 and Ryanair, apart from the colour of their liveries?
Jet2 used to score on the luggage allowance front, but they have now succumbed to O'Leary's format like most others.
Like different colour buses, we travel with whoever is cheapest when we want to fly. Often out with one carrier and back with another. Always worth considering. |

"Jet2 have cancelled quite a few flights for October today, ours been one of them."
. Not again!
We’ve heard nothing but specifically booked a package with them as opposed to flight & Venus, much less risk and previously excellent with refunds |

We are travelling out to Fuerte end October Ryanair, returning to same airport end Jan with Easyjet. Base price for two return = £76.80 (2 x 38.40)
Same dates from Edinburgh with Jet2 Base price for two return = £384.00 (2 x 192.00).
Over £300 extra to fly on an identical Boeing 737-800/Airbus aircraft painted a different colour. |

"Just booked for Lanzarote 12th sept"
Not all as it seems ,the flights we checked that were cancelled you can still book them on jet 2 live site so telling people their flight is cancelled but still taking money off others for same flights mind boggling to be honest ! |

"News from friends today of yet more Jet2 flight cancellations to the Canary Islands. Seems they may also be picking up punters and dropping them off on the way?!"
Been doing that a few weeks to mainland Spain, Balearics and Greek islands |

Posted today 25 August 2021 on Jet2 forum.
'Jet2, no consideration for the customer, as usual, happy to take the cash and then tough if there is a problem. Communication of changes are very poor, no detail, so other options cant be considered by the customer. Outward journey, had to make a stop off at East Midlands before reaching Alicante. Inward flight today, back to Newcastle, advised at checkin that the flight terminates at East Midlands (email received from jet2 advising flight rescheduled/cancelled when we were actually due to depart!) and then coach to Newcastle. Insult to injury, flight also delayed at least 2 hours(could be more, again very little way of updates) so instead of arriving at Newcastle around 1pm, will probably be after 8pm..while we all appreciate it's difficult in the current climate, more certainly could be done to support the customer. Leaves a very sour taste to end you holiday.'

They certainly seem to be very good with refunds.
Just as well as they seem very quick to cancel flights
We have never flown with them but we have booked 3 times only to have flights cancelled |
