"what is best airport for Vera playa"
Almeria, is about 45 mins away by car and a couple of hours by bus.
Murcia is about an hour by car.. I’ve done Murcia a few times but this time I’m flying in to almeria  |

Vera playa is the main one, it’s a large naturist beach and roughly a third of the resort is naturist …. But there’s a swing club in the little sq .. good luck and come say hi if yr there whilst I am |

We were supposed to be going to Gran Canaria on the 5th October but we have just had an email cancelling the holiday so first thing Tuesday morning we are booking to go to Vera playa 1st week October. Anyone around? First time there and would love any info |

We were there for a couple of hours last night, we had to leave early (9.30pm), but it seems to be picking up, the restaurants/bars were reasonably busy, and Templum was getting ready to open. |

I’m in Vera now and can verify what the guy above posted.. there’s a club here and u will find other cpls in the Broadway bar … but no naughty beach… there will be a few hidden coves up and down where I guess if yr lucky you’ll find another naughty couple .. |

We are here now, so different to previous years, no motorhome community at the beach!
Bars seem quiet, gonna try Templum fri and Saturday

So my take on it.....
You DONT need any form of test getting on a plane/arriving in Spain if you had two jabs.
You DO need test within 72 hours before leaving Spain, and then the subsequent ones on return.
If anyone that has gone from UK can confirm my interpretation it would make me feel much easier!!
On the plus side, really looking forward to getting back to Vera again on 25th, beer in hand looking out over the seas. My 'spiritual home' haha. |

Correct, 2 jabs and covid certificate (preferable with QR code) or printed off. 2 day test needs to be booked prior to your return to the UK and also the negative test certificate from any pharmacia. |

Hi, has far as I’m aware, it starts to close at the end of October.. I was there a cpl of years ago in feb and it was really quiet, but warm in the day and nippy at night .. I’m from staffs too, so yr convenient airports are Almeria and Murcia, hire a car when u get there or a hour or so bus to Vera playa… I’d like info on cap cuz wanting go next year.. so if you’d want, inbox me and we can share info… cheers x |

Regarding airports, Almeria and Murcia are closest but I find the prices are quite a bit higher than in Alicante - where you can often get flights for £25-30 one way. Trouble is it's the 2 1/2 drive to get to Vera area.
The temperature in October and November will be very pleasant - warm during the day - but the days will be getting shorter (obviously!). |

That's me on the ferry. Will arrive tomorrow night. Hope the weather is kind to me. So looking forward to being nude in the sun. Bumping into some fellow Fabbers would be the icing on the cake. |

Nice day at the beach, but very quite. What do do in an evening in Playa Vera mid week at the end of season. Is there anything of an adult nature going on. Or is it a nice meal some wine and early to bed? Any suggestions? Not too worry I have lots of books to read.

I have taken your recommendation and am at the Four Seasons. Didn't know about this one. Being to Frankie's and the Indian but not 4 seasons. Hope it's good. |

Funny you say that. I was driving back from Cabo De Gato tonight and it was dark and I saw it was all lit up and wondered if it was worth a visit. I will give it a try thanks for the recommendation. |

Me and my partner have just come back from Vera and we are booked to return for a week in May. Couple of things to consider. 1. You really need a hire car as the place is remote. In 10 days we saw a total of 2 Taxis and they were dropping people off from the airport. 2 However many clothes you intend to take out with you, half it then half it again then half it again and you still won't use them all.
All in all it was a great holiday.
One last thing. Go to the four seasons restaurant and see Soreena. What a lovely woman

It's right by Frankie's Bar, it's also known as restaurante asador four seasons. |
