Does anyone organise parties here? When we were in the UK south east a couple used to organise a party at someone's house, sort out the nibbles, alcohol, advertising it and so on. Everyone attending paid a contribution to the party and just went along and had a great time. |

Not any more.
Since the demise of the wonderful Casa Fiesta parties a couple of years ago there has been nothing.
Problem in Spain is that if you run party's and people are contributing then you have to declare it as a business.
You would get away with it for a while if it was kept low key, but if the authorities got wind of it they would close you down. (as Casa Fiesta sadly found out)
They really were victims of their own success.
