First prize for best party of the year goes to Maclennans. A fund raiser for a much loved member of our "famalia"....
Live music, lots of dancing and singing and a really amazing party atmosphere!
Time and time again these guys have opened their hearts to the community and gone above and beyond the call of duty.
Well done guys! You make us proud to be Canarians.  |

Probably not of interest to many. But it would have been remiss of me not to give credit where it's due. In a world where humanity has let itself down all too often, beautiful acts of unselfish kindness are also worth talking about in my humble opinion...

Talk about a feel good story,,, Fred is an amazing guy who has been helping people on this island for as long as anyone can remember. He's done so out of the kindness of his heart. Now that it is his turn to need a helping hand, all the people he has helped have clubbed together to support him.
Also the people he has helped have paid that kindness forward and we have been absolutely blown away by the extent to which people have gone out their way to help us get set up in GC. We very literally couldn't have done it without them.
The island in a party mood.... no doubt about it! |
