Anyone else out in gran can for new years 21/22. Been looking to book but the prices are almost double that of last year and the year before. I know last year was cancelled but almost £1400 each for 7 nights half board or £1000 self catering is a bit much. Anyone found prices cheaper please share ps dont want to travel from stanstead lol |

We’ve been going over Xmas and new year for the last dozen or so years including the last one just gone and never had trouble finding suitable flights and accommodation
Admittedly you pay a premium but you need to spend time looking at different options to get the best deals, what’s right for one couple may not suit another
We always book the flights in early January or even sooner if possible and then spend time browsing suitable accommodation
Ignore comparisons with prices at other times of the year , you will never get a similar price at Xmas unless you are very lucky
At the end of the day if anyone is seriously considering visiting GC over the Xmas/ New Year you just need to bite the bullit and pay the going rate , unfortunately it is what it is  |
