No. It isn't overrun, and unless you want to live in Puerto del Rosario you will hardly see any. 45/60k€ will not get you much here. Also have you read all the rules pertaining to citizens of third countries buying property here. There are specific Spanish rules and additional regulations for the Canary islands. For example:Britons who are not already residents in Spain and want to buy a home in the Canary Islands, must now have permission from the Ministry of Defence from January 1st following the completion of Brexit, which changed the status of UK citizens from being EU citizens to third country foreigners.
