All the vaccination does is reduce the severity of the symptoms should you catch the virus.
It doesn't stop you catching it and doesn't stop you spreading it to others. |

Also many people won't have had 2 jabs by then. At the moment there is a seven day quarantine in Corfu too, that will obviously have to change before season begins. |

I am on a Corfu forum and go there every year. Last year the majority of the businesses where we stay, didn't want to open up, because of the virus. They are very strict there with the restrictions. |

I hope so Sally. We moved our July holiday last year to this year, I can't see it going ahead and if there are lots of restrictions, curfew etc, it wouldn't be a holiday for us... |

Each vaccine is different and has different trial results. Newer research is showing that some seem to be reducing the potential to spread the virus to others.
The goals have been to reduce deaths and serious illness, which they all seem to do very well.
We will get more detailed evidence as the volume of people vaccinated increases and they have immunity duration assessed. |
