Haha I know we had a chat about this last year and a couple of your options.
I think this is certainly the better option guys.
Hopefully when this frustrating pandemic stops playing havoc with our lives, this will be a prosperous venture.
Yumbo is certainly missing a swinging venue (if I trust the name suggests it going to be a swinging pub/club) and we certainly look forward to many visits.

I agree it’s nice to have places away from the public eye , the thing I hate about the yumbo is sometimes it feels like your in a zoo with lots of families walking past pointing at the bars your sat in , saying it’s a gay bar etc |

We spend a lot of time in the yumbo centre, lots of intentions to go back to cita but the buzz and atmosphere results in us staying. It will be great to have heterosexual/gay swingers club on the doorstep. Hope it all works out guys. See you when we're next over |

They still haven’t bulldozed faro 2 shopping centre and that’s been mostly derelict for several years. |

this is the location :
If you see the Windsor Garden restaurant on the top floor, go down the stairs, on the left, then it is on the corner, was called Dutch Bulldog
or if you come from the sicpaxk zone up the stairs one level and then it's on the right site
as soon as we can make nice pictures we will put them online

We think that PDI has a promising year ahead and that there's at lot of fun to be had at this vibrant new venue. Hang in there guys... the wait will be worth it |

Have just seen photos on FB. It looked soooo busy. The person posting said it was rammed and hardly anyone had masks. People were drinking and dancing, no social distancing. Let's hope it doesn't impact on infection rates and mess up borders opening. So need a holiday in the sun and was hopeful this might happen based on what we'd read on here. But that post and pics have made us doubtful. |

Have just seen photos on FB. It looked soooo busy. The person posting said it was rammed and hardly anyone had masks. People were drinking and dancing, no social distancing. Let's hope it doesn't impact on infection rates and mess up borders opening. So need a holiday in the sun and was hopeful this might happen based on what we'd read on here. But that post and pics have made us doubtful. "
You're allowed to take your mask off if you are drinking and or eating. You have to put your mask back on if you move around the area, for example to go to the toilet.
We were at the Yumbo last night and apart from those eating, drinking or smoking, didn't see ANYONE walking around sans masks. The police had a heavy presence as well, not just at Yumbo, to keep an eye on things and we didn't see any trouble last night.
The Canaries are playing by the rules and have played by the rules since March last year and now they are being rewarded.
If we can be seen as apart from Mainland Spain even better
Don't let things put you off coming here.
It's safe. There's very low COVID-19 numbers here and they will continue to get lower and lower as time goes on |

I really really hope that infection rates stay low. I know most people follow the rules but with a gathering of that size it ruins it for the ones that do. Fingers crossed as its peoples livelihoods at stake not just our holiday in the sun.

OK. If you have a drink in your hand or a cigarette you can take off your mask OR move it to your chin especially if you are outside where there is more fresh air and air flow.
But the point is, it's pretty safe here to take your mask off to drink etc.
And as I said before the massive police presence last night would have kept things in check. The Canarians do not mess with the policia over here. No-one does. Lol.

Also worth remembering as well that alot of those people at Yumbo last night were tourists who have had PCR tests and Antigens tests to be able to come into the country. |

Tonight a big and fun level 3 party in Studio69 and just to be clear, no you don´t have to show your vaccinpassport to enter our bar, or any bar or restaurant for that matter on GC...just come in and have some fun, go nuts and forget the crazy world we live in xxx |
