We are currently near Alicante and are hoping to have a run down to Cartagena or Playas de Vera, does anyone know if there are movement restrictions in place, none here at the moment but there were severe restriction on the way diwn the coast a month ago.
Any help appreciated |

Some parts down here have had bar closures etc lifted, folk from Mar Menor can travel across to Cartagena and vice versa, but as far as we are aware there are still police patrols at closed municipality borders and fines being issued.. Check online news with Murcia Today as it has detailed information there. Hope this helps x |

We returned to Germany last week so things may have changed in the last few days (I doubt it though)
However up to then only essential travel was allowed between Valencia (including Alicante province) and Murcia regions.
While there were no full border checks the police were doing spot checks and issuing fines. |

You should be OK after the 9th Dec as Spain has a bank holiday 6th and 8th and they want to avoid large numbers travelling over this period but after that I am sure some restrictions will lifted.
I travel around Murcia and in to Alicante region most weeks and no police stops especially on motorway but I have seen them near San Pedro on the N332 where Murcia has the boarder with Valencia. |
