Just returned from 11 days in Gran Canaria and thought we should give everyone a quick update on the current situation on the island.
There are far fewer visitors and many of the hotels, bars and shops are closed. The busy areas like the seafront at the Maspalomas lighthouse and promenade are very quiet. We didn't get to kiosk 4/6 this trip but were told that was quiet too
However there are certainly enough good bars and restaurants open ( great new restaurant we tried, Calma Chica)
Comeback Bar was busy most evenings with a great atmosphere. (Imagine was also open ). And at the end of last week Secrets also reopened, we had 2 great nights in there!!
We are very fortunate to be part of the swinging community as everyone seemed to get together most evenings so there was always a great buzz.

Thanks you two, great review! Glad you had a lovely time, we have missed going this year.. you have pretty much confirmed what everyone else has been saying.So it is understandably quiet, but that doesn't stop you having a good time!! Take care xx |

Where’s Calma Chica? Anything on the menu you’d recommend? We’re going to need a good feed when Lizzie gets beaten at mini golf for 14 days. Winner gets a blow job apparently  |

Calma Chica is on Ave Tirajana just up from the Rui Palace opp the Caterina . The Lamb meatballs were lush !! |
