We were the last ones out last Wednesday. As has been said an anticipated take over cancelled at short notice and left them with no bookings until October . The staff have largely been sent home but they will almost certainly respond quickly to email. Wendy said she would be working from home.

"A group take over , nobody was happy about it .... and if they cancel it cost LM a lot of money.
Maybe next time no take over anymore. "
We are with people who should have been at LM with the takeover. The booking has been moved to the same weeks next year. |

"They have emailed us to say that they plan to re-open on 27th. September.
However, they have only 5 bookings in October and unless that changes, they will be re-considering.
Not looking good.  "

Unless you receive an Email from La Mirage saying that your holiday is cancelled... it still goes ahead .. no if's .. buts or might be's ... why put doubt in people's minds without knowing the whole picture.
And people slag off the media over Bulls*#t  |

Really looking forward to our November visit to LM and seeing all our regular friends from all over Europe plus a few new ones.
There's more than one way though to look at Covid, we like many, got infected during the summer.
We took advantage of the free testing in Cap d'Agde and happily for us and other friends also infected, our symptoms were mild, no more than a summer cold.
Now, after blood tests, we have developed antibodies so we are very happy to have this (temporary!) immunity.
With 98% of covid cases having mild to flu-like symptoms perhaps it is better to catch it (like measles when you're a kid) and get it out of the way |

We have booked 3 nights on the 23rd October, we wanted a week but wendy could only give us 3 nights as it was fully booked all of october, we would have took any week in October but that's all they had so looks like october will be busy in la mirage, hopefully cita will be busier than it is now as we have a bungalow for a week before we go to mirage |
