Only advice re accomm if you haven't got a car and want to be within walking distance of the beach and the swingers bars/clubs would be to stay in Playa del Ingles (PDI) area. |

We are confirmed in la mirage for 9th to 15th Jan. We will stay a further 2 weeks out there in different accommodation. Only just back this week from being out there the last 2 weeks and already missing it |

With the latest requirement to have pcr test within 72 hrs of arrival at a cost of £120 per person, we are going to cancel.
Crazy price, when we were in Turkey in September you could get a test for 15 euros! |

You may not need to pay that £120 with free mass testing being rolled out to anyone who wants it in certain areas across the UK:

Please note the update from today. This means that non-essential travel from the UK to the EU/Schengen zone will NOT be possible as of the 1st of January. So if you are planning a visit to the UK and you return after New Year, be sure to have your residency documentation with you. If a 'newbie' resident and you have not been issued your TIE yet, then the residency 'aprobado' document, or proof your application has been put in, combined with a padrón certificate, work contract, whatever documentation will accredit that it´s essential that you return to Spain.

Decision made today December 16.
“Please be advised that the current epidemiological situation does not allow the UK to be included today in Annex I of the Council Recommendation on the temporary restriction on nonessential travel into the EU and the possible lifting of such restriction”.
Note: the situation will be evaluated again in 14 days. |

Got to hand it to Jet2, they cancelled our 9th January holiday on Monday, got full refund this morning!Third time cancelled and each time money refunded so quickly! Will keep on using them next year when this crap is over! |
