The use of masks will not be mandatory, at the moment, in public spaces in the Canary Islands.
The Canary Islands will not make it compulsory to use masks on public roads, urban areas outdoors and closed spaces for public use or open to the public as long as the 1.5m space social distance rule is observed.
It was revealed by the Minister of Public Administrations, Justice and Security of the island Executive, Julio Pérez, after the meeting of the Government Council at the headquarters of the Presidency in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
More info will be added in time.

Don't make it more than it is....nothing is changed in the new mandatory today. It's still is how it was before, face masks mandatory when 1,5 meter social distance is not possible!!!!!
Still not mandatory to wear it on the street or on the beach |
