Set up completely different.
Benidorm lots of bars on streets. Lots of competition on price.
PDI bars restaurants mainly in Commercial Centres.
Cita has more swinger and sex bars than others. Yumbo has more gay bars. |

I suppose it would depend on exactly what you want from your holiday.
From a swinger perspective Maspalomas/PDI would win hands down. Numerous swinger clubs, swinger friendly bars, two dedicated swinger complexes, and a superb naturist beach. Add to that it is an internationally recognised swinger destination that attracts swingers from all over Europe and beyond. It also has much better weather in the winter months.
Benidorm has none of the above.
However from a vanilla point of view Benidorm just has to be the winner.
For night time entertainment it's very hard to beat. The big show bars there are pretty unique in Spain.
We would also rate Benidorm higher for restaurants Etc. The old town has some superb Tapa's bars. Probably the best selection on the Costa's.
So a full on swinger holiday then Maspalomas PDI. For a more vanilla holiday with the chance of a meet or two from here the we would go for Benidorm.
