We are still waiting for the boe to be published to see if the uk is included in the list of countries that can travel, as it stands at the moment the uk is not allowed and seems the news Chanel’s are just assuming, it has to be stated in the boe to be official, fingers crossed the uk are included, the boe should be published later today or tomorrow |

Costa Blanca News is reporting that British tourists will be allowed into Spain from June 21st.
They contacted the Spanish foreign ministry who confirmed that as Britain is only in Brexit transition it will be included.

"How soon is anyone actually going?"
We are driving down from Germany on 1st July, maybe we will bring it forward by a day or two now.
From the UK it will really depend on flights, at the moment Jet 2 are not flying until 15th July, and Ryanair haven't really said much lately.
Also while the UK still has the 2 week quarantine in place it will make it quite difficult for many people when they return home.
Yes, some will travel but I don't expect big numbers. |

"Lots of reports that the 14 days could be dropped soon.
But just now we are still waiting for the BOE and see what it’s saying for Spain first "
Hopefully either dropped or Air Bridge agreements In place by the end of the month x |

I think if people in the UK can start booking holidays from mid July they will do. Things are changing quickly, far cry from a few months back when it was feared no holidays abroad till 2021. Be interesting to watch the prices of flights/holidays though....they may rocket once given the go ahead x |

Yes many people are desperate to get away and have more confidence now to book something. I fear prices could rise though x |

We're booked in the Portsmouth Bilbao ferry on 5th July after two previous bookings were cancelled. Brittany Ferries actually phoned us us last week regarding another matter but also said they are pretty confident the sailing will go ahead. Can't wait to get there... |

Fco advice is still not to travel unless it is essential though so until that changes wherever you are going you won't be insured against COVID and depending on your insurance possibly not at all! Think carefully about travelling without insurance, a couple of years ago we were in Spain when a friend needed emergency treatment - a night in hospital, medication etc cost him over €2500! |

Good advice, hubby has had hospital treatment in PDI and it was expensive, covered by insurance. |

"Just when you thought it was opening up. Maybe not the nightlife.
I see Ibiza Nightclubs will not open this summer."
The Mirror‘s headline was a bit misleading.
The official word is: Clubs with 300 person capacity can open as of Monday, that is to be reviewed every 15 day’s.
Yes Ushuaia have said they are not opening this year (gutted by the way) and it’s likely other big venues will follow as well. That’s mainly due to all the opening parties have been missed and we’re 4 weeks in to a 18 week season. |

Nightlife in Ibiza is slowly coming back! From this Monday, small venues can open up to 300 people!
However, venues with a 300 person capacity can open from next week, and a working committee has been set up to review the situation every 15 days. That’s the official stance. Yes, it is true to say the bigger clubs will not open in the same way as usual.
That’s the official news from Balearic’s government |

"Yes confusing...' Balearic government are set to ban all major night clubs from reopening '
"
The Balearics have a separate government who have decided that allowing clubs to open is too dangerous in the current situation. Other areas of Spain could do the same although I don't think any have at the moment. |
