"We are booked for PDI from 24 Sept. Anyone else? Chances of it happening? Chances of swingers clubs being open?"
Good chance of getting there, no chance of clubs being open.
Also I hear they are clamping down on use of the dunes, with only access across the dunes using the marked paths allowed. |

Just under four weeks until September, and who knows whether the restrictions will be eased for the islands or not ???????...
Who still has a booking? - dates and hotel
This is that you intend to either go and quarantine upon return or cross fingers and everything else that the quarantine will be removed by time of travel?
We’re on a return short break to Suitehotel 3-6 September.

I think you only get a voucher or refund if the flight is cancelled. If it’s still going ahead and you choose not to go you’ll be able to change your flights free of charge. That’s unless the situation changes of course! X |

"Booked to go out on the 17 Sept for 9 nights. Wondering if you can still use the nudist beach even though there are no sun beds.. "
We were there 3 weeks ago and plenty of people on all the beaches - nudist & non nudist - no issues apart from no sun beds & beach kiosks closed (that was PDI & Maspalomas) - other beaches such as Amadores (not nudist we know) did have all the sun beds out - things can change week by week at the moment - and we are also back on the 12th Sept for 2 weeks - we work from home currently so even if quarantine restrictions still in play - then fortunately will not be an issue |

"Booked to go out on the 17 Sept for 9 nights. Wondering if you can still use the nudist beach even though there are no sun beds..
We were there 3 weeks ago and plenty of people on all the beaches - nudist & non nudist - no issues apart from no sun beds & beach kiosks closed (that was PDI & Maspalomas) - other beaches such as Amadores (not nudist we know) did have all the sun beds out - things can change week by week at the moment - and we are also back on the 12th Sept for 2 weeks - we work from home currently so even if quarantine restrictions still in play - then fortunately will not be an issue"
Thank you for this update x |

Kiosk has been re numbered, think it's 6 now. There are no sunbeds and I don't think the kiosks are open, but people are still on there.

Very random! Still in same area. Things change all the time. I suppose the kiosks can't open, because of the potential virus spread. |

Nothing at all to do with the virus. It’s an outstanding tax bill. So until that’s paid or a plan put in place. all Kiosks and sun beds Will not be available |

Still all go for September 5th, no quarantine or travel restrictions to the Canary Islands from Switzerland. Looking forward to seeing the improvements at Venus Star Resort & catching up.with friends. Can live without the club's right now, just need naked chillout time. |

We've been told it's to do with the workers refusing to work without a pay rise due to risks with Covid_19

As the originators of this post, glad to c it is still going strong! We r still due to be in PDI on 24 Sept. Hotel opens 1 Sept, flight with Ryan Air, all checked in! Clubs r "open", not sure if play areas/rooms are?
Hoping the quarantine is lifted because if it is not, we do not know what to do. ?????? |

I’m praying they change the quarantine rule before next month, been told by my company’s hr that if I did go and had to have a further two weeks off I would be breaching company policy as I would be seen to be off work without a proper reason ???? And I could loose my job , so unless the government change there minds and/ or jet 2 cancel my trip I could be losing my holiday and the money I paid for it , what a mess |

Yes me too, but we hear so many different things on here at the moment, it's difficult to know what to believe. I tend to go with the people who live there. I can't see much changing in the near future |

Same hear Samiss, but it's two different versions of events, lol. One from a non national and the other from a national!
Anyway from a resident in GC, I've been sent a copy of the latest government restriction changes. Face mask to be worn at all times outside, including beach except for having a swim. That's us waiting until next week now to go. |

No one knows, until the BOE comes out it’s all guess work. I really don’t think it will be like that. Most likely it’s going to be walking to and from. And if I’m truthful that is not even going to happen.
One thing is forsure, they are coming down hard on nightclub. €30,000 fines. Is what I’m hearing. So clubs may have a problem opening back up. |

For those with travel insurance linked to a bank account, we have one of those policies and it covers the FCO advising "all but essential travel" which GC currently falls under from 28 days prior to departure. So, as that is next week for us, we will be looking to cancel and redeem our flight and accom charges which we have paid. We are booked again in late Jan / early Feb, so hope things are better by then.... |

We are still going, 3 weeks tomorrow. Bars are open, restaurants are open, and a couple of clubs. The sun will be shining and I can get naked and chill by the pool at Venus.
I can catch up with friends who live on the island, I have to wear a mask whether in Zurich, London or PDI, I don't see any difference. |

You think, or you know? The new restrictions are only in place for the next 14 days. And just checked with Fun4alls social media, they are still opening. |
