Don’t want to alarm you, but just so you are warned. Some friends of ours traveled up to Benidorm from where we live south of Alicante, a few days ago.
Posted a vid on Facebook, pretty deserted. It may change by the day of course, and hopefully it will for your holidays. |

Been following daily via several Benidorm FB pages and looks busy to me looking at the videos people are posting but we doing mind it being a bit quieter |

Certainly not trying to spoil people’s holidays. Just relaying what I saw on the Facebook video yesterday. The posters are friends of ours and not trying to portray a false impression. But as I said, situation changing by the day. |

It's not a case of spoiling peoples holidays more case of staying as safe as possible and not wanting to go into lockdown again. Had the English isolations had been as strict as ours have been we would not be so worried about getting a second wave of harsh restrictions. |

"We are in benidorm now. Its getting busier by the day with more bars opening daily. Obviously quieter than normal but still great fun  "
A lot more were to open 1st August but now in doubt, ugh. Still enough around on the whole with the amount of people that are here. A little walk, bus or taxi you will get entertainment & drinks. |
