Hire car is normally the preferred method.
But if you are traveling solo may be cheaper to look into shared transfer/taxi

If you're in a hire car the A7 / E15 motorway is only a couple of km's up the N344 from the airport. Turn right. After 53km come off at exit 520 for Los Gallardos, Mojacar, Vera 1.5km on N340 then take A370 to Vera, Mojacar and keep going till you hit Buganvillas roundabout, straight over that and you're there.  |

There's plenty of shuttle buses you'll be able to get once this lot is over.
When I've been I've stayed in the Vera Playa Club Hotel each time I've been which is a naturist hotel and convenient for the local swingers club Templum as its just the end of the street.
I've not been to the hotel since starting swinging as it is a naturist hotel and not necessarily a swinging resort.
I popped my head in to Templum as I was on the brink of starting swinging, which I did the week after when I returned home, but decided I would be better off waiting until I got home as I had no idea of the rules and etiquette, the language and did not know what I was going to walk into. As the place was not quite open I just saw the bar area and no one was there so I couldn't say how it was but I would suggest as with most places it takes a couple of tries of a place to get a feel of it.
I actually would love to go back and give it a try though I'd stop elsewhere Probably I think.
Obviously this will all need verifying as the whole world is up in the air at the mo.
Had a nice few massages with happy endings in the Sex Shop opposite Templum but I'd be more likely to just go to Templum which the masseuse said she frequented anyway. Oh those naive days seem so long ago.
Good luck and enjoy your time there. It is beautiful and there's lots of places to visit in Vera Playa nd the surrounding areas.
