First day of lockdown, cos that's what it is. How do you feel? Scared? Anxious? Relieved? More so than yesterday?
I've gone from cautious yesterday, to crapping myself today. From being rather chuffed to be classed a key-worker, to wishing it was someone else. From trying not to show my anxiety, to swatting my fucked up masculinity aside. I drove through the streets this morning noticing every person and every vehicle - wondering why they were out, and whether they were going to be OK.

Hey Mr, well if all go by the rules this time it's will only be temporary for 3 weeks or there abouts. It's not a total shut down so not too scarey just now. It is in a way we haven't even done our food shopping yet but it will get scarey if the ignoramasses out there do listen. |

This is me this morning, I know come tomorrow I am back in contact with people who are most likely to pass on the virus and its fucking scary!! We can only hope that people now realise that they need to adapt their way of living for however long it take be in 3 weeks or 3 months!! Take care and stay as safe as you can x |

The whole thing has not bothered me at all. I am a bit of a loner anyway so will just work and walk dogs(somewhere quiet) as always. I work beside folk who are losing sleep through worry but i will just plod on as always. |

It's going to be hard for people tho, I'm working in a hub with preschool children, it's so difficult to try and explain to a 3,4 or 5 year old that you give a cuddle or high 5 to every day that they need to stay 2 meters away from you, unless of course your changing them helping them to cut their food etc etc. For some people kids included it's like complete mixed messages and very tough x |

It is going to be hard, I'm going to be putting my life at risk going to work and don't have the prospect of going for a pint on days off for example. Also made the very difficult decision to stop seeing my FB for the foreseeable future. I say FB but reality is we are much more than that but it's a decision we feel we have had to make.

Still lots of work places that involve mass gathering that have hardly been mentioned ,my brother is working in the John menzies factory with a good few hundred bodies and zero precautions as we speak,,,the people that work in the royal mail center in Springburn all just getting on with it,my pal and his co workers working in a recycling center picking up other people's rubbish ffs....that's just a few examples ,that sector has had little mention in the media ,are those people immune ? Its fucking nuts...should be the same rules for everyone across the board,,,while i and most people isolate literally thousands of manual workers aren't,,,they are told "you need to come in or we'll get someone else to do it" |

My work place has put in measures for social distancing, staggered start/finish times and breaks. One van one person.
I'd happily stay in the house for 3 weeks but as I'm a key worker I will just get on with it. I'm healthy so if I get the auld cornona I'd like to think I'd survive it but if not then I will find out if there's life after death lol |

I'm trying to focus on my family and these 4 walls just now but it's incredibly difficult. Thinking about the poor souls who aren't safe at home at the best of times never mind when the country is in lockdown. |

G works from home anyway, and usually only goes out during the week if it’s essential, or he’s seeing friends/going to an event/etc. So this is no major difference there.
L is in a higher risk category due to an underlying condition, so she’s been following these guidelines for over a week now to be safe. It’s a scary time, for sure, but this does give the best chance of keeping us all safe, and getting us through this. We’ll just keep thinking of the gorgeous people we can meet when it’s all over.

Thats me house bound for 12 weeks as I have no immune system due to medical condition and medication.
Cant go out to dress, cant dress at home as house full....long 12 weeks I think.
