We should see the latter.

The sooner we are all on lockdown the better.

I was appalled at the amount of people who didn't seem to give a f*** at Portobello beach yesterday.

Definitely a lockdown to be announced if not full UK then England first and Scotland to follow.

Too many selfish ignorant people not abiding by rules, They tried to make this isolation process comfortable by introducing wage, self employed and benefit relief to prevent this going as far as lockdown to prevent mass panic but still teenagers, families walking about with kids like its a normal day everyday...Lockdown needs to be done now to save lives.

Not everyone is going to have it so easy with a full lockdown still alot of employers not going to pay people and alot will just lay off there workforce which in the long run will cost more lifes of innocent hard working people but yeah let's all wish for the country to go into lockdown

Have you been living under a rock? have you not seen what's happening in other countries? Lockdown should have happened before now to stop the spread of the virus! Half the country have been laid off for over a week and then there's the stupid selfish c***s who can't do as theve been asked and stay in the bloody house

I found it hilarious and also a damning indication of where society is going, because of the announcement that MacDonalds is closing, caused a huge tailback at lunchtime today in hamilton as everyone and their dog seemed to want to get a Big Mac in before they're stopped.

Or we could just let a deadly virus spread across the population decimating employers across the UK and fucking our economy forever.

A Lockdown now is far the lesser of two evils if all you're worrying about is some pay every month.

The majority abide the rule and do as requested but the small minority who think it doesn't apply to then and spend the weekend in the parks and beaches are moronic and the decision have to be made.

Have to applaud the government on this tough decisions save life at all cost because once it's gone it's gone

4 members of the cabinet threatening to resign because it’s a creeping shit show.

The lockdown is as clear as mud in many respects not to mention the self employed.

The timing is also atrocious given many people are on shifts. Panic stricken wondering if their going to get home and how.

Why not announce a clear and concise lockdown at noon giving people half a chance to speak to employers regarding should I should I not go to work in the morning.

I know I’m working but thousands are left in limbo.

Very difficult for police to enforce this hence why they're asking for special constables to be released from their regular jobs. The idiots who did not heed the warnings are an embarrassment and should be publicly flogged. I suspect they will continue to ignore the advice. I truly hope we dont get hit as hard as Italy has been.

I asked my bosses for direction today after Nicola Sturgeon announced non essential workers should not go to work for exactly the reasons you said, to give notice to others with as much time as possible. Nothing!!! I know it’s difficult but there is very little common sense it seems
