Anyone seen the post of the couple in Glasgow floating about, the girl in a dog hood and tail etc on a leash with the guy walking her.

As far as I was aware it isnt a crime neither were naked or doing anything but stopped by police and are now spread all over Facebook and being ripped to shreds, yet 24 hours ago everyone was all sorry for caroline flack having took her own life over trolls online...

Maybe the police were just checking she wasn't being forced to do anything against her will?

Maybe someone should have asked her that question?

I agree, some people dont like to approach others though and have perhaps alerted the police instead?

Or perhaps the police were just curious or concerned, do do realise you're walking through the streets of Glasgow! Some folk can be pretty ignorant and might incite abuse behaviour towards you, perhaps you might wanna reconsider coming out in the daytime and keeping your outfit for more private Intimate affairs.

However is it was a female dressed up like a slutty sexy schoolgirl handcuffed to a guy everyone would be like on yersel son

I'd still find that to be very unusual behaviour in public

See loads of folk walking about town regularly during the day with cosplay outfits on, alot of very sexualised manga ones in particular bit for the most part people don't particularly pay much notice to them, at the weekend lots of young teenagers in particular, I actually find that far more disturbing tbh a girl who goes to school with my daughter she's 14 gets paid to pose for pictures and various video/social media platforms in various cosplay outfits and go along to events dressed up yet her family and others think this is great and I'm like eh hello seriously

Fb is full of contactdicting bastards. People post one thing yet act completely differently in real life. It's 2020 who gives a fuck if someone wants to wear a lead and go for a walk.

here's the problem with that alerted them to what crime?

The establishment are way to big for their boots and believe they get to control the avg person to many allow it theirs a reason their title is public servant

mybe they were just making sure she wanted to wear the lead and wasnt being forced to.

Saw it in reverse in some train station on the news it was a woman taking the old guy for a walk carrying her bag.

Nah these things should be kept in the privacy of their home or indoors at least.

I didn't say there was a crime involved, personally I don't think there is anything wrong with asking someone if they are okay. Many people might have been concerned for whoever was being taken a walk and that might have been why the police were alerted? You have to admit that its an unusual thing to see in public.

To be honest I honestly think I would be concerned and have to check by calling the police. For one incase she didnt consent and two incase anyone victimised them as it is an odd sight to see..

its unusual granted but no crime so police have no reason to be involved

There doesn't need to be a crime involved, a police officer has many responsibilities and if there is a reasonable concern for a person then I think contacting them is justified.

So someone maybe fell into a swollen river and got swept away the cops will say no thanks, not interested as there's no crime ?

I get what your saying kola but you don't help your cause by saying silly sweeping statements to back up your point.

In one of the shares a guy was say they lived in his street, they out everyday like that and that the gentleman is a convicted pedophile..... just another angle on it and another reason why they may have been approached by the police

the point is there was no swollen river there was no indication of a crime and for my viewpoint the state is to involved in our day to day lives while some take solace from big brother deciding what we can and cant do maybe as many are tired of our freedoms being eroded and honest it's for our benefit

Forgot to say it's not their duty to jump in the swollen river that's just the human thing to do attempt to save a soul in peril

I get what your saying and all the points being made on the PINAC videos etc, and I agree but surely you can agree that the cops turning up and asking this girl if she is OK and on finding she is OK then moving on is not an issue. It's when they continue to make an issue of it then that itself becomes the issue. Checking if someone is OK is fine, escalating the situation is not.

It's not a soldiers duty to get blown up and killed with an IED but it still happens. It's not just about what your job states on the tin bud.

that's a known risk believe me I know first hand so as a known factor it kinda is in the job description

I used that example knowing you could relate to it , I can tell you though that there is no manual in the British army that states being blown up is part of your duties. But yes it happens, just the same as police stopping and Che king to see if a girl in a dog outfit and on a lead in a street is OK. That is also not in any job description manual.

There are manuals on ieds....honeypot traps baiting targeting and a whole host of others I've lost friends to ieds and it was a known factor before deployment as I've said while you may be happy with civil servants behaving in this manner not everyone is perhaps it's not even what happened that's the problem but the steady erosion of freedoms and check balances sorry but it's been leveled at our civil servants more and more about overstepping their bounds and behaving at times as if they are above the public we wont agree on this and many other issues.

I also know it's a view the some police agree with with the gong ho I'm a cop attitude of their younger counterparts
