I used to love jacks, where you pick up stones, or the spikey jacks that you could buy if you were posh. I was asking the kids at school if they built their own boggies, but hadn't heard about it, sneaking into the dump to try and find pram wheels, better than sitting in front of the xbox. |

Kerby,now that was class lol
2 man hunt-although down my way they used to catch you and batter fuck out of you, chinese burns the lot.
Don't know how to say this one but it involved kicking the ball against a wall with someone and you only had one kick to try and kick the ball back at the wall.
Grand National or Rabbit Run depending where you were from it involved rampaging through peoples gardens trying to clear all there hedges.Normally ended in tears with a branch to the goolies.
Conkers-throwing a stick at conker trees, then trying to rip them open if any fell to the ground. It was better then a PS3 anyday lol
Crossbows-homemade crossbows and stealing yer ma's clothes pegs then going out armed to the teeth lol.
Lest we forget the breakdancing craze that swept the country-people walking about with lino under there arm looking for an "uprock" i think it was called.I remember trying to do a "swan dive" and split my chin open lol

Another game i played with some mates in the house was we formed a circle then you had to throw a dart as near to someones feet as possible(shoes off)-i think my mate ended up with a bloodied white sock after a stray shot from me lol. |

When in a crowd we would play "pony express" Two "riders" had to make it from one end of the bing to the other. By surviving the "indian ambush" !!
It was character building !! and helped build up your speed
And as mentioned ... rope swings. Never a summer went past but half yer mates had stookies on an arm. |

Another game going about was Snipes-a full deck of cards getting rattled of your knuckles. Also not really a game(unless you got chased) was raiding apple trees and gorging on those bitter cooking apples then going home with stomach cramps lol. |
