Wondering where this went wrong. If it was an unverified and new profile I'd have thought nothing of it. However it was a verified profile that I'm pretty sure has been here for some time.

I was blocked by someone completely out of the blue. We had chatted a few times in the past and yesterday we chatted some more exchanged face pics which led to me saying I'd like to meet. They said they would to and I typed a reply suggesting some possible times, I hit send and boom I get 'you cannot message because the user has blocked you' (or something to that affect) did not see that coming. So I'm left pretty confused wondering what went wrong. Anyone else experienced this?

I'm only posting this because I'm actually gutted and secretly hoping it was caused by some weird glitch.

They didn’t like your face pic so took the “easy way” out ... blunt but true

They've maybe blocked single guys. If your messages ate still there, you should be able to reply and ask?

Could be this or something you said. I've been mid conversation with someone and been blocked. And done the

Life is too short (and your Fab lifespan even shorter) to stress too much about it.

I'd have thought that had it happened after I sent it but I received one in return without asking and the conversation continued for some time. Like I said if it has been an unverified new profile I'd have just thought the realisation of an actual meet scared them away. It could still be that, who knows. Just found it really odd

Here's the really odd thing. The conversation is still there. Even showing the blue dot going on and off next to their name.

There are some odd loopholes in fab UI design, but if you're blocked, just consider that as they didn't fancy your face and didn't want to be harsh about it. Forget it, move on...better that that being stood up for the meet!

If the conversation is still there, I dont think she has blocked you personally. She maybe really likes you but has blocked all single men because shes fed up being bombarded with shit. I would try and message her back and see what's said.

I like your positive take on it. It'd be nice if you're right. But when you try to message it comes back and says I can't send to that profile. Below that it says 'Why? Because your blocked' In the case of where single guys has been blocked it says you can't for that reason.

As much as I prefer your outlook sadly I think everyone else has hit the nail on the head.

This first time I've (known) someone has blocked me and I've taken it to heart. I know the craic though, just forget it and move on. Just having a bit of a vent.

I would be livid. No excuse for bad manners and treating folk that way. We are adults and should be adult enough to say no thank you. Chin up and move on.x

That's exactly it. I guess it's bothered me because I just wouldn't do that.

It can't be the same friend as mine, he said the woman he likes was very articulate . That's definitely not Mrs Doggy

its not a rule to say it. I've been block for other reasons or another. Don't go moaning about it.

Then you get block even more

Yea maybe you're. I don't get why someone wouldn't just be honest either. I'm glad I'm not alone thinking this.

I've blocked people sometimes without ever exchanging messages. It could be a status, a username, something someone said on the forum. To avoid someone I would never ever meet and have absolutely no interest in ever hearing from I have used the block button.

But after exchanging loads of messages, face pics and both still seem up for meeting I'd think it would be the decent thing to say to someone you've had a change of heart. But that's just me x

Haha I thought this was just me. Passive-aggressive status updates hurling contempt into the void get a block ever time. Nine times out of ten these are the same people proclaiming "no dramaz".
