Hey. Heading over with some friends next month. Just wondering where are the best places to eat and have some drinks. From a local's perspective

I must check which hotel but I think it's near Prince's Street.

The Outsider on George 1V bridge is superb as is Mussel and Steak at foot of Victoria st. Then probably hit the grass market and Colgate.

Three sisters is decent down the cow gate, a few other decent pubs down that way. Liquid rooms is if you fancy a boogie. Standing order in princess streets good, but always rammed hence the name standing order

Thanks for the replies. It's not a hen, just a weekend away. There is 6 of us travelling. We'd be looking for a nice cocktail or gin bar really.

Always love the ambience of Café Royale. Lots of pubs to choose from and far too many restaurants to mention.

Juniper on princes st is good, George at is good for afternoon drinking, but is a younger crowd at night.

Panda and sons is quirky, but on queen st so a bit out the way. Sky bar is good on a nice day.
