Hey!
I was wondering who attends Shoebox more or less frequently?
Been there couple of times and had lots of fun.
Thinking of going more often and just checking what’s Glasgow Fab’s take on the place. |

Lots of varying stories, it's been reported in the papers and been investigated by police and found to be compliant with the law, the stories range from a knocking shop to an unprotected and unfussy free for all. But like anywhere else perception is different for everyone, the only way of knowing is to visit it for yourself. It's a rather more intimate venue than most "clubs", personly it's not on my list of places to visit  |

Hi OP, I do attend when I can get time which is maybe once or twice a year. I was there the day the police attended and they were happy with everything.
I do know one of the ladies who attends and I know neither she or any other ladies who go there get any money for attending, they go because they enjoy it as much as the rest of us.
Lots and lots of rumours and hearsay and speculation about the shoebox but honestly if you enjoy going then keep going, if you dont like it then dont. If you dont want to meet people who have verifications from there....thats your choice. I could of course remove my verifications from there then you would be none the wiser....would you. |

We've been twice and both times there was more females and couples than single males. On both occasions there was 2 women present one of which is the owners wife as they are active swingers as well. |

Lol mostly the CJ crowd have heard 'rumours' about shoebox.
Says it all.
Been happening for yrs
And shocker cjs has been raided by the police AND been in the papers also.
1 of many reasons I dont attend any clubs anymore. |

I don’t think it’s fair to have a go at other clubs either. Thankfully there are different places that we can all enjoy, all different and not enough of them in our opinion but none of them deserve to be bad mouthed. If it wasn’t for these places and the people running them, sometimes at the cost of their own anonymity being disclosed in public by the media, then this scene would be a lot worse off for us all. |

Thank you all for the input in the manner.
I was not aware of any of the “rumored” happenings.
On the few occassions I have visited, the crowd was always happy, women were eager participants and could not have thought anything is not as it seems.
I’m far from dissing any “crowds” as I have occasionally attended CJs as well, so for the sake of not starting any arguments I consider my questions answered and the thread closed.
I will not remove the thread, cause everybody is entitled to shape their own oppinion.
If anybody wants, my DMs are open
