A lot of women started up an account recently only for it to last less than a day. They chat away fine, add you on kik, chat away fine there then just disappear!

When I set up my first profile, I deleted it pretty quick after being inundated with desperate messages. Therefore I do get why people go the same day they sign up. I found it quite intimidating at first.
I can't comment on the moving to Kik thing, other than maybe they just changed their mind?
I've chatted to people and changed mine over the years. |

If they chat away fine on both here and kik then delete maybe it's your chat or they changed there mind or indeed are fake .

I dont think it's my chat. Its started off very friendly then gradually gets a bit filthier on both parts. Picture swapping etc. Both parties being quite hirny and happy then just goes off like a light switch.
I'm starting to think it's a man getting his kicks. All the chat has been quite filthy. Sending pictures back and forth. They seem to get verified very quickly then they just disappear without any warning after a few hours. Its happened to me 3 times in the past week. 1 girl from Aberdeen and 2 from Dundee. |

What can I say....got caught up in the moment. I'm not to know it's a man or a troll till they've vanished. All 3 seemed very genuine when chatting and sending pictures. Ach well....live and learn. |

Had a guy message me this morning, profile only a few weeks old. I was polite but explained when I didn’t meet random guys only in town for one night he then proceeded to ask for my number! I questioned why and I rebuffed it politely saying I didn’t give out my number to random strangers got a message back saying I had a chip on my shoulder! Lol don’t think it’s me that’s got the chip  |

Face to face is always better as stated but if that’s not possible suggest early on to have a cam face to face in the chat rooms (even if you don’t use them - and it is possible to set it up to have a “private” chat outwith the rooms themselves) and any fakes will soon bail at the prospect. |

They seem to copy and paste the same thing from profile to profile
“Think you can handle me drop me a message” or
“I’m probably too old for this but I’ll give it a go”
Also One visible profile pic and two hidden. I’ll just keep blocking and reporting them, they’re normally gone within the day |
