So listening on the wireless tonight, and this was a theme that was suggested as a topic for discussion
Is there a song that either the music, melody or lyrics makes you think I wish I'd written that?
For me the lyrics and the melody to David Greys - This years love has me thinking if wish I'd written that
And if I had the royalties must be whopping!

"Very simple song and lyrics but Three Little Birds by Bob Marley.
Beautiful sentiment though...and it is his birthday today."

I wrote all of David Bowies music. He just sang them. I was the real talent behind the scenes. I just couldn't cope with all the fame and adulation.
I'm particularly proud of life on Mars..
True story.. lol. |

One memory I have of this song was actually In Jamaica sitting at the poolside bar as you do and along comes a rastafarian with his wee guitar singing Three little birds ... he sang for just over an hour so I was rather merry by the time he left lol |

Seriously there are a lot of songs I wish I wrote and a number of songs I wish I hadn’t wrote.
For royalties I wish I wrote Bryan Adams hit Everything I Do, Queen’s Bo-Rap
As for lyrical content there are too many to list |
