Maybe just us, but recently finding it hard to get excited about much on Fab. Looking forward to the masquerade ball, but apart from that just all feeling a bit flat. Do any other people go through this? And if you have, what worked best to get that fabby spark back? |

yeah, went a but dull... for us I think its the same old in the rooms etc, but we are finding the forums a bit of a giggle....also because we joined for a certain goal, scored that one...lol....so currently taking a wee back seater at the mo....who knows where we shall end up...... |

The cogs of the fab machine are'nt turning too smooth, as said, too many of the wrong kinda elements to make the cogs turn, total timewasters,,ohh aye no just timewasters, total ones, then theres daters who kinda swing but hmmm not really, then theres yes, fantasists who love a message or 3,,hundred.
And rumour, lets not leave that bad boy out, folk you've never bloody met before in your life yet seem to have prior knowledge of you, in fact know more on you than you knew yerself, offt the things i've meant to of done, shock meeself im tellin ya,lol.

Yip, its always been hard for single guys but lately its been seriously dire. Lucky to get a reply these days never mind a meet.
Was however invited along to a meet with mate from here to meet a girl looking for MMF. She however didnt show despite having spoke to her half hour before the meet. Gets to the time and she cant meet for another 3 hours apparently. total timewaster. Folk like that just ruin things for everyone else. Does show however its not just single blokes who are ruining things  |

Keep the faith,there are.still alot of fun people and fab times ahead if you can dodge the timewasters and weirdos on here which isn't always the easiest if feats lol I just tend to keep positive and go with the flow as I'm somewhat overly committed in my life outside of fab so when the planets align and the time and opportunity presents itself I try to make the most of it;-) |

But yeah site has gone stale to many timewasters,flyby nite profiles and people with issues instead of getting on with that their here for or maybe that is what their here for lol  |

Dunno if anyones had the same, but generally, messaging,even trying to get an upbeat nice reply is like panning for gold, to the point it becomes hard work, and yet everyone shouts about it all being fun, im not saying i expect marvelous replies every time,but it really should'nt be so tedious.
Example; you read all the profile, see you might just be ok to message, you ping a decent message, and say something innocent like "oh i see in your interests blindfolds, cool" and what dyou get back? "Ehh what where does it say that"? Thats a dead end road message, nae point in going any further,,lol. |

Have returned after a recent Site break and have found that a lot of whom I would have considered regulars and scene stalwarts over the last few years have gone.
Is everyone onto a new hobby instead? Making cup cakes? Gardening?! |

I have found that over the years it is always a bit flat from Jan till about now so hopefully it will pick back up soon I know Davy and I have not been on as much as we used to as we were finding the same a bit flat atm. |

purely my take on this...
very few folks seem to meet these days - most prefer to go to socials or are wary about meeting due to players and pretenders.
My idea of swinging is chatting to and meeting fellow adults for sexual experiences whereas lots use the site as a social networking place to gain friends- each to their own but maybe 1 reason its gone stale.
as i said purely my take( cue the hate mail ) lol ..rock on! |

I'm pretty much working from a clean slate, deleted profile a few months ago and kinda starting all over again,appreciate the friends who remain good,fun friends.
If not for these people, i generally find myself goin round in circles with it all.

yep, i think going to the likes of cj's is going to be the way forward for me. dont get me wrong i enjoy the "chase" the "socials" and everything else involved in the build up but when these things start becoming a saga where there looks like theres probably no future fun to be had then i think i could possibly get to point where i would by pass fab and go down other routes |

So heya been reading the thread and im sad to see that many feel that life in fab has gone stale....
Yes ive only been around 4 er 5 months now but the thing i do is i take my time, come and go when i please and still enjoy my time on here....there is so many things to do and see and well to me its not a rush in my opinion, we are here to enjoy ourselves
Yes and to be honest im starting to get picky about who i want to meet. Im not the sort of person who is a clubber so i doubt you will find me in a "club" i prefer one to one chat, i dont want to be shouting to be heard and to have fun lol.
on a note i hate google when you do words that look normal they do a red underscore under the word. |
