Forums are brilliant. I've posted or moderated on many over the years, since 1995 or thereabouts, and truly they are some of the most wonderfully passive-aggressive spaces I've ever inhabited  |

Not personally enough I'd say. Some should wake up and smell the cawfee.
Not at all. But what have you heard them saying about me? Was it bad? Am I universally despised? 
Think? Think if you like just don't be tempted to post it if it's truthful AND accurate. The naughty step beckons.  |

Some folk seriously need to remember 99% of this site is virtual so if your gonna get upset about something someone you will never meet says maybe go back to facebook |

Most of us could do with pausing and thinking before we hit "post message" I think ....I've said things in a thread and regretted them at a later date. We can all be arseholes. If you keep that in mind you're probably less likely to get offended. |

Sometimes yes. More often though, people think that by being controversial they're being edgy, when really they just come across as a troll. I suggest they find a hobby that doesn't involve the internet. |

I don't take things seriously but I do look at things from different points.
I may not get offended as I don't give too hoots what people say or think about us without having met us but there will be people who are on here for a wee boost in their lives, something to spice things up in their life and marriage and they are starting to feel confident and BOOM some moody bugger has just went and said something that hits a nerve for them and everyone is laughing and joking about it or being critical.
Some things are not intentional and yes some things on forums are for laugh, joke, good banter goes a long way but you can usually tell what's humour and what's not a lot try to score brownie points.
No one should change themselves or the reasons why they are on here. I find people are changing who they are and what they put out there because of people's opinions, you are not you if you feel you have to change who you are when you first came on here to be more liked by others. Being you is being real, changing you would make you as fake as the fakers that make up profiles pretending to be someone else.
Just my opinion

I got my new replacement phone so no more cracked screen and glass shards when I type, so means no more plasters and thumbs are back on forum |

Can we all be a bit sensitive? - Not all, just some.
What do you all think? - Like any place there are too many of those tiny fragile unique white things that melt too easily (and is no longer classed as PC) even on a place like this.
