Hi,

Thinking of going along to CJs for the first time later this month. Can someone pleas explain what happens when you go in etc and what I need to do? Do people take their own booze? Sorry I know this has probably been asked multiple times

Glasgowish

Take your own booze which will be kept behind the bar. After you check in somebody will show you around and answer any questions you have.

It is all very relaxed and once you have been shown around just mingle and walk around. There are various rooms to sit in upstairs for fun or the more sociable rooms downstairs for a wee dance and chat etc

Same as most other clubs, be polite and respectful, no means know, downstairs is pretty much soxialising upstairs where the fun happens there's no dress down policy like some of the clubs down south, leave the room as you find it ie there's baskets provided for dirty sheets towels bins for used condoms wipes etc staff on hand to help, only couples who arrive together can go into couples playroom, dungeon is for kink play not sex, again play is reserved for upstairs not downstairs,no drugs, bring your own alcohol but most soft drinks tea coffee are provided there's also a buffet, phones left in the office. Most importantly enjoy yourself oh and don't drink so much you make a tit out yourself lol

Are you in full warrior princess attire?

So, the Cjs website is a good place to start as you need to email them to reserve a place anyway. Other than that you checkin when you arrive, no phones, they take your own booze and give you a ticket number for getting it at the bar. They give you a tour on your first time also.

This would be my biggest issue a few drinks to calm the nerves and I will have to watch I don’t overdo it lol

Thanks everyone for the replies. Haven’t been to any kind of club before but with an overnight in Glasgow booked, it’s too good an opportunity not to give it a go.

Post-hujacking here, soz. Is there a joining fee as with After8? I don't think it's mentioned on the website

No joining fee. But you will need to take ID on your first visit.

Nope. Me neither. Get d*unk and make a tit of yourself and laugh about it the next day.

CJ'S is a fantastic venue & Caroline & staff are very accommodating indeed.

You will love it...

Yes there will be nerves, butterfly's etc but that's all completely normal.

Just go with an open mind and as said previously have a drink or two in moderation but not to the point that you are pissed as the adrenaline will be flowing through you as well.

Mingle with people there.

We've been numerous times and find everyone very easy to approach and chat to.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
