Hi, I’m travelling to Glasgow early next week for work and was wondering if you had any recommendations on hotels. Can’t be too expensive as I have to put it on expenses but nice enough to stay in( I’m fussy).
Location advice etc would be appreciated |

"Are you looking to be near to CJS or just in the city centre, what's your budget as well? "
Believe it or not people can visit Glasgow and not go to CJS.
OP there are a huge variety of hotels to choose from on the many internet booking sites available. |

If you're really on a budget, the Ibis at Springfield quay is usually cheapest. It's a bit of a walk to city centre though.
But the 500 airport bus from city centre is very convenient to get to airport..
There are popular web sites for findings hotels though. If you're wanting to stay by the airport, look for something in Paisley |

I stayed in the Ibis on Sauchiehall St - a decent enough place to stay... it's what you'd expect if you've stayed at an Ibis Could also see if or Motel One is in your price range - small rooms, but nice.
If you'll not have any free time you might as well just stay at am airport hotel. Being in the city means you'll be near great places to eat, drink etc though |

Try hotels.com. The airport hotels can be expensive and aren’t close to anything except the airport.
City centre is better for a cheaper hotel and at least you’ll have pubs and restaurants nearby.
Airport bus leaves every 15 minutes from George Square I think. Cheaper than a taxi but depends on where your going for work. |

"Easy Hotel. £35-£45. It’s got a bed, shower and toilet and more importantly it’s clean. The rooms tiny but sounds ideal for your circumstances "
Avoid above only if you suffer from claustrophobia - I didn't enjoy my stay and the room was too warm! |

I pretty much always stay in Premier Inn either Charing cross or the Quay, if they are booked out then the mclays guest house get an en suite or Charing cross hotel are both good value as well and right in the city |
