Not going to lie, the jag is horrendous and the first couple of days are no fun due to unwanted erections straining at the stitches 
As soon as the stitches come out tho, it's plain sailing. Should be fit for fun after 3 weeks, maybe a few weeks more to fully recover afterwards.

I had mine done couple years ago, knocked out for the operation so never felt a thing. Post operation its not really painful, would say more uncomfortable, would recommend tight pants to keep your fella from swinging in a pair of boxers. They recommend no sexual activity for 2 to 3 weeks and first few times to use a condom (think that's just for rubbing etc). As to thinking to loose a bit of length, you don't, no foreskin just means the head is exposed all the time and while foreskin might add a bit of length while your mr softy it don't when you had a raging boner lol. If anything I'd say mine is longer and helmet does swell bigger than before. Ejaculation is also better, way more intense, sometimes too much so lol
It's not without its drawbacks, I still get the odd tender feeling on top rim of helmet and sex does not last as long due to the more intense feeling but that's getting better.
If I hadn't had medical problems chances are I would not of had it done (well NHS don't do non medically related circumcisions) but it's sorted those and it's been a good thing that way

Yeah I had bit of trouble after a previous operation for something totally unrelated, it went wrong and had to be readmitted and while they were fixing me they put a tube up my cock (while I was out lol) after that I kept on getting urinary infections and was very uncomfortable - but the circumcision sorted all that out. |

It really depends on the surgeon and also what kind of cut they make.
Mine's was done with self-dissolving stitches and they had disappeared completely after 2-3 weeks.
I took a week off work, but only because my job requires me to be up and about on my feet all day. Once you get used to the tenderness and the new-found sensitivity (imagine rubbing against your penis head all day everyday! LOL) you'll be fine after a week.
Not going to lie, it's not pretty to look at for the first few weeks but once everything heals it feels fantastic.

Tight foreskin is called phimosis, if it's causing you issues suggest you get along to your GP to discusd, very likeky the GP will in turn refer you to hospital specialist and you will get checked out. With something like phimosis the circumcision will be approved. Unlike the US etc in GB the hospital will only carry out a circumcision if it's deemed to be for medical reasons. In the US, patients can ask for it to be done. Mind you sure if your private it can be asked for. |

If you have phimosis (as I had at 18) then I could understand. If it's for cosmetic puposes I wouldn't bother. You have got through life without it and your life is hardly likely to change if it remains uncut!
If your phimosos is recent it's likely that some other factor is causing it such as yeast infctions and you should run to your GP asap!
When I had it done it was painful and awkward for a few weeks but soon got over it.
I remember at the time making a note to self never to have it done again! |
