me, mr cam thinks the social meet is like a selection process, dull. u spend a few hours or.so to decide if we are good enuf...surely cam our pics n chatting should be enough.......meeting ppl in public could cause the other ppl to be nervous in that situation.....making u think, nah, not for us......but in a more private setting they could be the best ppl uve ever met... |

personally for me i dont think chatting on here and seeing on cam can determine if i want to meet anyone or not.. with a social meet then you get to see the real person.. find out what they like in the flesh... our social meets always lead to flirting if we all get along.... this then makes it all the more hornier.. and wanting waiting for the "real" meet as in fun...
If you are finding your social meets dull and boring then maybe you need to change the way you go about them... make them fun and nobody should be nervous!! Not saying every social meet is the same.. there have been some where it has been a no-no for a playing meet.. but all in all they are a good build up to what will happen next time

Nope. Our time is busy with work n family so don't have time to meet for drinks and a wee chat.we do all our chatting swapping face pics on here to decide if we are going to take you to the bedroom lol. auds xx |

"Prefer to sort out the preliminaries on here, then get down to the fun when we meet. So I remember anyway."
Social meeting (flirting) adds to the fun of what may lie ahead i think... had to many surprises where people are so flirty and outgoing on here but stone dead when ive met them in the flesh so social meeting works for me and il continue to do so  |

im on here as i dont have a lot of spare time for sociallising! hence, would rather chat and get to know the person on here then straight down to bedroom fun! lol |

we dont have lots of time either for socialising.. but sometimes it has to be done.. had some spur of the moment meets that have turned out to be great.. and also ones where it s been a no-no... so if we can meet socially first even for a quick chat then we try... if not then we take it at our own pace when chatting on here... just our way of doing things, and everyone will have different opinions Mrs H xxx |

Most times I like to meet in a public place, have a coffee and a chat and suss if we get on or not ... only occasionally have a play meet immediately after meeting for the first time.
I think being a single female on my own it's safer that way.
I've been on lunch dates that have turned out like wrestling an octopus or have discovered they are married so I'd prefer not to have any surprises like that before a swing meet. |

so wat we can gather from the replies is that both have advantages.....i can totaly see the point of a single girl wantin a,meet publicly, but doesnt stop the guy or cpl from being freaky nxt time.......we judt havnt got time to meet then say right, nxt free night ure gettin it......wud rather have it
, only after we have hit it off here.....but fair play to all......xx |

I always insist on meeting people in the flesh first, and that is usually in a public place. That way, me and Cookies can decide if we both like what we see. If one of us is unsure - Im the choosy one - then we say our goodbyes. - thankfully this doesnt happen often.
As Cookies and I work different shifts, we tend to login separately in chat, email and in the forums, then we discuss who we've been chatting to and then the other can see the message trail.

I think you've got to meet first. You can play message tennis on here for ages but until you actually meet in person you don't know if there's that connection or not. |

I think also people can look very different to what they look like on cam and in pics sometimes on a good way sometimes in a bad way....also people can act very different in person.... A social meet is a good way to find out what people are like before committing |

Way easier to walk away from a social drink as you ain't committed to anything 
We did have 1 social meet with a cpl long before we were on here and it was like being at a job interview.... Literally was dead funny looking back |
