Ok, are you very proactive on here( eg always sending messages, winking etc), or are you reactive( do you wait for messages and winks etc before responding)? We are pretty reactive, almost like wait till we are asked lol. Just be interested in other peoples thoughts. |

Depends on the moment.
Mostly I'm reactive and wait until I'm asked
Sometimes, however, I like to grab the bull by the horns as it were. Usually depends...if I know I'm looking for a meet at a particular moment then I will be a bit more forward. |

Thank you, but please don't let it catch on that I'm "interesting" in any way - since I got my latest makeover I've been trying to achieve the vacant dumb blonde look
P.S. No offence to blondes (or anyone) intended I only try to imitate because I'm jealous |

i am proactive... but not in the sense of sending out countless messages...
Its a case of getting myself known... such as at the countless scottish socials and in the chatroom as one of the nicer fellows... and that tends to open up more doors then the message thing does... |

Me thinks as a standard single ladies and couples can afford to be reactive, after all they have a wee wriggler on the hook. Sadly us single males need to be proactive on the whole. You don't see many salmon in waders!!!
I've tried the cool, stand off and wait reactivity, it's like waiting for a bus that's already back in the depot |

as someone who has had a couples profile and a singles profile I always thought it was the single males job to get himself out there. When I set up the couples profile I realised that although you get more traffic and more messages - you still need to be proactive if you see something you are looking for.
Single guys who have never been in a couple on here - it is just as hard.

Having been on here a week now it def feels like single guys have to be proactive as there are more of them to choose from. It depends on the intensity of the person and if they are willing to wait for an invite. If you have certain times/dates in mind then production is a must. Being married too also does not help as many fabbers frown upon the cheating aspect of this but this is not under debate on this link. |

The inactivity is due to my proactivity kinda backfiring on me, hence the previous "cant be arsed" comment.
And as i've said before, its like panning for gold as a solo male hoping for a fun meet. |

There's been times when I've had to work my ass off trying to get a meet lol seriously, its a joke.
Especially with guys, when it comes down to it they usually have some sort of excuse why they can't meet. I suppose it could be genuine reasons but when I want fun, that's all I'm focused on Don't wanna hear the 'I promise next time...' blah de dah
bit of a bitchy mood today, can ya tell?
