Could be women too but I've only dealt with the men.You know the ones.....been on the site for months, loads of 'friends', advertise regularly for 'fun today'......and no verifiactions, even phone ones............
Is it just the ones I've been contacted by or are they all tossers with no intention of meeting? Opinions please.... |

i would meet ppl with no verifications
but always for a social meet first as i do all my meets u always got to start somewhere .
many peopls i know dont like the idea of being verified as they dont find the need for ppl to judge them by what a verification says at the end of the day how one person views u doesnt mean every onne is gonna c u the same r they .
some people r on the site for a long time with no meets because ppl wont give them a chance with no verificationsn thats just so unfair get out there n meet people n judge them for urselfs xx

Fair enough but all I can say is that the only timewaters I've found here have been the guys with about a year's membership, no verifications and a long list of friends.
Why a guy would chose not to post genuine verificactions makes no sense, bearing in mind there are so mamy of them. Surely one at least. More than one, I can see why.
All I'd say is that I've found a pattern and I'll put money on me not being the only one...... |

we've been lucky then, as most single males we've met got their first verification from us, dont get us wrong, we have been let down in the past although the worst offenders for us have been the ones who have verifications, but only via webcam so we steer clear of them now. we all had to start somewhere. |

personally i dont think verification are that important, after all, just because they have been verified, doesnt mean that you will have your time wasted, am sure ppl have been verified and then mucked ppl around (can you UN verify someone lol)the same way as the thumbs up feature, thats just one persons opinion and you cant please everyone, or that a person a person (AND CPLS) have several profiles, it just a guide. proberly put my foot in ti , by airing my views but hey ho |

A) You cannot give a verification on here until you've had one yourself
B) I personally do not send out friends invites until I've chatted on here for awhile to people
C) I do not meet with people untill they have chatted for awhile and we have exchanged friends invites.
D) I do not do anything until I've actually met someone for coffee and a chat first.
That is my criteria rather than a list of cam view or phone call verifications on someone's profile. |

That's my method, too Budhha. When I first posted, I'd had followed exactly that with the two guys without verif and although they've both been on the site for over a year, it didn't phase me until they both proved to be total time wasters.
Why I posted was I wondered if anyone else had had this problem but it would seem I've just been unlucky. However, time is precious and I don't think I'll be going that route again. |

Hi Heather, how you doing? As has already been said, you will always get timewasters on any site you go onto. It annoys us genuine guys as women become cynical due to these timewasters and it makes it harder for us to convince you all that we are genuine. I think all you can do is stick with verified profiles and always meet socially first. And in case anyone is wondering, i'm not a timewaster, lol. My pic is there for all to see xxx |

Have to agre with windstrider.
I have the verifications, am in chat, plenty have seen me on cam yet it is getting harder and harder to even get a reply to messages now let alone a meet!
As is usually the case a few have ruined it for the many!
