There's a t-girls chat thread on here somewhere. Might be worthwhile browsing through the Scotland forum some more to find it x

It’s a slippery slope. One minute you’re just wearing stockings, next you’ve a range of outfits, shoes , wigs and “toys” hidden in the loft.

Have fun.

Be safe.

Go to cj’s to meet others.

There’s TV admirer events at CJs. The girls will give you plenty of tips. Enjoy.

Too true, once you start you just can't stop. It's such an addictive hobby.

Definitely too many nice clothes And shoes, I love high heels. I would bankrupt myself if I bought every pair I liked.

Not me. My formula is;

I buy them if;

I like them + They're in my size (Huge) + I can afford them.

Just remember most people don't care your buying women clothes so try not to be embarrassed. generally us girls are one size on the bottom (I'm a 14/16) and the have broader shoulder so another size on top (size 16/18). Go for a larger size for dresses, buy flexible waist skirts rather than fitted. Second hand sites or charity shops are a good stop, so too cheap and cheerful high street shops. Hope this helps

Absolutely spot on. I go to Primark or Sainsburys for underwear, usually cheap and good quality and charity shops for shoes and clothes. They do not care what you buy and if the charity shop is quiet they will let you try stuff on too.....they just want your money xx

London

I have way more clothes and spent way more on Jane than my alter ego.

Lately I've avoided the Primarks of the world and tried to by that wee bit more up market, I find there is a bit more play in the sizing.

Also the overall quality is better and a good quality dress may last 3 to 4 times longer than a cheapy.

With the explosion of online places like Amazon, Ebay, Lindybop, etc. will allow you to click and collect from lockers/doddle/Argos. Which means no more strange parcels to the house, especially for those still in the dark recesses of their closets.

I'm like you now Jane more picky and specific in what I wear but I know when starting off and playing with sizes when u can't try on then cheaper clothes lead to less disappointment (especially if the item is too small) and some girls are prone to purging. Not everyone can buy online (like me) as its too risky good advice about lockers etc but totally agree better quality means last longer and also keeps its shape better.

It probably best I don't have more storage space for clothes or shoes as I'd be buying new ones every day lol

Welcome to the dark side....

But seriously, keep it simple clothes wise, find something that you feel sexy/ right in, then build on that. Boobs, buy them on line, and keep them in proportion to your build.

Then there’s makeup... less is more, keep it simple, just a bit of lipstick to start with, then go from there.

Don’t be frightened to shop , the people serving are only to eager to help... part of the fun too!

I love raking through the Charity Shops.

Women buy outrageous sexy clothes and shoes, wear them once, get fed up and then donate them to the shops.

Some of my sexiest numbers were from the Shelter shop!!

Take time to enjoy the wonderful sensuality of ladies' clothes - silky stockings and tights, lovely satin/lace/nylon panties, the sexy restriction of a girdle or basque, learning to put on a bra, short skirts/dresses, walking in heels......I could go on but that's enough to start with.
