In the spirit of Halloween and all that, what’s everyone’s favourite horror movie!?

Not technically a horror movie but it's the one that scares me most, Midnight Express... for horror probably Hitchcock, The Birds oh and Silence of the Lambs... "it puts the lotion on its skin"

Tuck and Dale vs Evil

Horrors rarely scare so I like my gore delivered with a good dose of humour.

Poltergeist is my absolute favourite.

Scariest for me through would have to be The Exorcist or Wrong Turn.

A Nightmare on Elm Street, Poltergeist, Halloween, Friday the 13th, The Omen, and Children of the corn when I was wee. The Saw franchise before it got silly. The Ring. Recent horrors don't seem so scary. Quite enjoyed A Quiet Place, though.

Saw a reissue of The Shining at the cinema last Friday - hard to beat that as horrors go. Exorcist is really good too and surprisingly the Exorcist 3 is well worth a watch if you're a horror fan...

The original 1978 Dawn of the dead.

The thing (80’s version).

The ghoul with Peter Cushing and the legend of the 7 golden vampires (they’re not scary though, I love them).

Race with the devil.

The hostel series is a good idea for a horror also, they’re definitely watchable.
