Try High Range Motel, nice Italian restaurant next to it. Also Macduis for eating in the town, next to garage. I am up there now for work. Andy

I’m heading there tomorrow, Mambos is usually lively, lots of places to eat & drink depends on what sort of night you are looking for

Aviemore and regularly visit Glasgow

Winking owl has nice food and good beer as owned by Cairngorm brewery (you can also visit brewery for tasting and tour, in the industrial estate).

Mountain cafe is great for lunch but relatively expensive and buuuussssyyyyy, although not as bad in November.

Route 7 (above highland home centre, also in industrial estate) is also good for lunch - tasty and not so pricey!

Old bridge inn is really tasty but very very pricey and small portions - fine if you want a fancy meal but not a huge feed.

Little x

And don't forget the Cairngorm Hotel, opposite train station. Love this place, although apart from Harley weekend, I haven't been since I moved away 3 years ago but sure it's still as good

Inverness

The post office at Kincraig has the legendary potting shed cakes. I thought they were gone forever until I saw them here!

If you want any the Cairngorn brewery beer it was cheaper in the tesco than direct from the brewery last time I was there.

All the pubs around there are decent. Winking owl or old bridge best for eating out. Bar meals are all pretty decent everywhere else. All depends wgat you like. Enjoy.
