Anybody else watch this? I forgot the new series has already started. The third episode was broadcast on Monday Fox UK but I’m just watching the first episode from three weeks ago, now in my bed. Comfy TV.  |

I'm a fan of it and Fear the Walking Dead.
I've stuck with it through the great episodes as well as the slow ones, but love the slightly new and altered stories.
I've read all the comics too, so can see most of the influences, but it is nice to see how things have been changed up.

I've not missed an episode since it started. Definitely gone downhill since Glen had his head smashed in, for me. The walkers, who were once the star of the show, are just a distraction, now. It's a shame, cos I used to love some walker role-play with the wife.
The introduction of the whisperers last season did bring a new dynamic, but this season has bored the tits affy me, thus far.

It improved a lot when Morgan and the new characters were introduced. Not a huge spoiler, but Dwight also reappears and becomes a regular character.

I thought the show was going downhill, however I felt last season, it picked up with the introduction of the whisperers. They really are bad ass. I’m quite enjoying it again. I’ve just watched the second one. Will watch the current episode tonight when all cozied up in bed. |

And bad ass after what negan did to Glen. She's off somewhere as they make reference to sending her letters but they've never explained it.

Like Mandy read the comics... the watched the series... I like the darkness of it... Fear the Walking Dead, seems to have better story lines but that might be cos it does not have a structure already set out before it... the rmwriters just let their imagination run wild...  |

Just remember there's a new series coming - Set 10 years after the outbreak.
There are the 3 Rick movies coming out.
There's also rumours that they'll be going back to do what the original premise for Fear the Walking Dead was as a 4th show. That premise was survivor stories from all over the world. Let you see how other countries are coping with the zombie outbreak.
I'm a big fan of new characters in anything, which is probably why I'm liking WD and FTWD so much. WD is at the stage in the comics where loads of new characters were being introduced, but there were too many to get to like, the show seems to give you that chance.

She was, but she was mainly written out cause of the fact thst for a few. Short weeks, they didn't know if Walking Dead was coming back, Lauren Cohan didn't want to leave all her eggs in one basket so signed onto another show on a different channel, but it flopped fairly quickly, so she'll be back.

They did say she was with Georgie, but weren't specific as to where to.
I'd say the time between Rick "going" and now is about 6 years 3 months, given the time-jump, all that's happened and the bad winter they got through.

It's deffo been 6 years plus, the 3 months is a pure guess, based on the fact they have crops again after the story winter.
Georgie was the woman that offered up information in exchange for records/vinyl. She was in a van with two other women acting as her guards.
