"Looking to chat connect with fellow gamers and geeks alike.
Anyone around or am I looking in the wrong place :p"
We're geeky gamers. Husband and wife, board games, d&d, computer games when we have a time. More to life than all that but good fun when we have the time. |

I used to be a pc geek and big into my mmorpg games, don’t really play much anymore as can’t find a game I love, sometimes play Xbox with my pals on smite etc but I am
More of a film and comic geek, but I do like the gods mainly Norse or Greek. and lotr lore haha |

I try and not be so geeky these days as I just don't find the time to enjoy thing plus enthusiasm takes a lot of effort although my mancave is half way through being built so maybe different once that's done

I think I am a geek but... it depends on your definition of 'geek'. I find not everyone has the same. |

I probably tick most of the boxes for being a geek, but don't really identify as one. My girlfriend backed this up when she met a load of my friends in a certain field and she said I wasn't a geek, but they were.
I read and collect comics.
I collect toys AKA action figures (I have a few thousand).
I watch sci-fi (Except Star Wars).
I play X-Box One and still 360, plus have SNES and NES Classics.
Probably fit other stereotypes of a geek too.

Hi, been a gamer as far back as the spectrum days. I also run a Facebook gamers group. Mainly a pc gamer but also have a 360, soft-modded wii and a ps3 running hen xploit.
Yep, definitely a gamer geek lol.
Love horror games most I'd say and often upload videos of me Playing them while On webcam so folk can see how easily Jumpscares get me lol.
Happy to chat to you any gamers geeks and meet up for a catch up also.

Hi, really amazed at the amount of people with similar interests to me. Never realised there were so many.
So my geek CV:
Gaming, mostly Xbox one as my PC is ancient so limited to Football Manager on that.
Anything comic book related reading as well as TV/Film.
Massive fan of wrestling, not just WWE. I love the less mainstream side too.
Collector of Funkos
Musically I'm mainly into punk and metal.
Love a board game, never got into tabletop gaming but not against the idea if anyone has the patience for me to learn. Love a good but of trivia or card games such as cards against humanity or exploding kittens.
When I do get a chance to read I love Terry Pratchett and similar authors.

Between Edinburgh and Scottish Borders |
I (mr) am gamer since being a kid. Used to have most of consoles and now play Ps4. Really like sci-fi and fantasy stuff. We both love Once Upon a Time, i know it's cheesy but so enjoyable to watch and Regina's outfits are awesome. Plenty boardgames at home. I recently got back to play RPG, Call of Cthulhu and Warhammer. Even Mrs played with us but she's not a great fan. Said that she prefers different kind of role play ?? However to feed my inner geek she made a wallpaper out of old original comic books on one wall in the house. Took her few days but it looks amazing. |

I certainly fit the bill as I'm a global moderator on a very well known mmorpg (which shall have to remain nameless) & have been for about 12 years. Have cut back to only being on duty 4-6 hours daily as compared to what I used to do! |

Have been playing “video” games since ant attack.
After losing years in open worlds like Skyrim, Witcher 3, Fallout(s) and GTA, I’ve gone back to Heavy Rain / narrative driven style of games. Still plenty of fun, just more variety.
COD still has a place in my November’s but I usually dump it after the 1st prestige.
Also love table top games but don’t get to play as often these days. |

Both gamers here. Used to play WoW together a lot when Nym was working away. About to blast through The Witcher 3 expansions and counting down the months until Cyberpunk 2077 comes out!
In between still like some CSGO and PubG.
Also do VR racing but that's a lot more niche and a developing... horribly expensive hobby. |

For those of you in the area, I've read that Geek Retreat is opening in Edinburgh.
Although I've heard from people that they're not very good, and attract lots of the trendy-neck-beard sorta geek rather than true geeks.
For those that know Edinburgh it looks like it'll be where the small Clydesdale bank was on Nicolson Square.

We're both doing that, although Mrs is painting more and I'm starting a new campaign as DM. |

Everything from The Bard's tale on the spectrum to Skyrim. Or original D&D, AD&D, Traveller, Diplomacy and similar.
Nice to see D&D becoming cool again, the Stranger Things effect I think.
Are we talking computer games or face to face games? |

Boardgames mostly for us. Arkham horror, Mythic Battles Pantheon, War of the Ring etc.
Not adverse to computer games but prefer the social aspect of boardgames these days. |

War of the Ring.
I got all excited as I have the SPI cardboard game of the same name and then I googled and found the new game with plastic figures.
I never got anyone willing to sit through the old wargame version of WotR. I still have it in my loft, unplayed
Have you played Superfight or Card Against Humanity?
Superfight is worth it just for the geeky arguments. |

Used to play a lot of the ‘old’ video games such as Sonic, Street Fighter & F1, Monkey Island. Dug our Zelda a few years back and loved it.
Love graphic novels/comics and collect coasters that are made from comics. Been to Blackpool Comic Con & Glasgow Comic Con (twice).
Enjoy table top games; monopoly/downfall/Jenga/cards against humanity and have played Catan/Zombie/kings of New York.
Collect Funko Pops as well.

I got a Mac Pc, its good pc but range of games is pretty limited, love strategy games, Total War, esp Rome one, but want to go back to windows pc as cant play Silent Service on mac and Microsoft flight sim is better. Like X Box but games too story line based, as in must turn left, prefer sandbox.......... |
