I don't think I am folk seem to need the latest buzz fad in order to do something these things just scream look how good I am stopping drinking to save the ants

Well done OP. These things are only a bit of fun, and if they help one person reassess their drinking/diet/exercise*, then that's got to be a good thing.

My office did a healthy April initiative. It wasn't for everyone, but generated some competitive banter, and a few have kept it going.

I'm not doing sober October, but I have cut down, and upped my gym visits. Go me!

Anyone else doing Sober October?

I did it a couple of years back and felt a lot better for it. Not doing it this year - but am cutting down quite a bit.

And yeah, I had people moaning at me on the internet, too.

I normally cut out the alcohol during Oct/Nov/Dec as bars are full of amateurs taking up space and making waiting times for a drink longer so I tend to just avoid for those months

Well done OP.

I did it last year and actually felt better for it at the time.. But i enjoy a drink when i get a chance so not doing it this year.

That drink I had at 12:01 on 1st November was fantastic though LOL.

Done sober 4 october once and its staying at once its no the same when out way pals and their acting as usual and u think FFS so ill never go out sober way pals again
