You cannot out run your gub.

Start with your diet.

Don't go to the gym but sure I've seen another few folk mention that gym.

Get the PT at the gym to do a max test and do weight training with a wee bit of cardio. The weight will fall of you if you combine that with cutting out crap. And just go regular

Eat a balanced diet, make sure you are in a calorie deficit. I would recommend using an app to track all the food you eat.

Exercise, a combination of weights, low intensity cardio such as walking or rowing and High intensity interval cardio like rowing hard as possible for 20sec then slowly for 40sec do this for 10 to 15 mins.

Also spin classes and similar are very effective. Also doing something you enjoy will make you a lot more likely to stick at it.

if folk spent more time on the diet side and realise it's a lifestyle change not no fizz and 17 burpees diet far and away has the highest impact.

Find the diet that suits you buy smaller plates and learn portion control.

Only eat when you need to not when your programmed to.

Yeah, just not at the gym. I hate it. Pilates and kettlebells at home....and I'm my feet a lot during the day.

Count your calories. Get the my fitness pal and weigh everything. Eat in a deficit and you'll lose weight. Easy as that

Obv don’t try to go balls deep to soon as most get deterred. Obv cardio is good . Enjoy it . Also I found eventually that doing my weights in super sets and short intervals intense is brilliant to get muscular and trim the fat .

Loads of good and correct advice here.

What I would say is find a mix with traing and diet cuts that your comfortable with to begin. A cleaner diet with weight training and small amount of cardio to begin!!

Once you get 6 weeks in you will begin to see results then look at what your doing and see where you can up the bar a little.

Chilled mate has it right, basically to reduce weight you need a calorie deficit to tone up add low weights high reps, for gains opposite

Definitely this (never thought I would say 'wise words' from doggy lol) and whatever the PT gives you to do, do it at 110%. Only get back what you put in lol

I’ve only just got into a regular routine at the gym over the last 2/3 weeks . My trick is doing the things i enjoy or you won’t stick it out!

And it’s true, you can’t out train a bad diet.

Also, I’ve been tracking cards via my fitness pal (on App Store)
