Especially if you're sitting outside a closed car park

Does this mean there's a new car park beside the old car park?

Fly tippers are indeed a blight on the countryside, and when their actions interupt other activities, they're an even greater blight.

When other places nearby are mentioned, do you mean the places where you can drive off the road?

Also, if you're looking for outdoor fun, as in real outdoors when on a nice day, there are some excellent places a wee bit further over amongst quite a range of very minor roads.

The quarry is up the Fairlie Moor road, which is accessed via a small road going off the main road just south of Hunterston.

“The quarry is up the Fairlie Moor road, which is accessed via a small road going off the main road just south of Hunterston.”

There’s no quarry anywhere along the Fairlie Moor road and the Knockendon Picnic carpark area is still blocked off, there are only lay-bys on this back road from Fairlie to Dalry.
