It would be nice to at least answer any email received with a polite no thanks or a + reply. But "zilch or no reply" is deffo rude. I mean to say we are all here for the same purpose.

Not replying to mail isn't rude at all. It is just some peoples way of saying thanks but no thanks.
You don't phone every company who puts a leaflet through your door to tell them you aren't interested in what they are advertising .... use that same principle here  |

It's not rude not to reply.
Some ladies and couples get hundreds of messages a day so it simply isn't possible for them to reply to everyone. If you don't get a response, you can safely assume they aren't interested. If you're getting a lot of "no-replies" then you should consider your profile and the messages you send. Are they giving the right message? Are you standing out from the thousands of other guys on here?

The arguement is that women can get literally hundreds of messages so it would take them forever to reply to each of them.

we got pestered with messages from single blokes looking to meet couples so we put on our profile NO more single males. we still got loads and took time to ask a few as to why they had not read our profile? there reply was oh we thought we would chance our arm anyway. so like a lot of people we just delete now. thats not being rude it just our choice . |

we may all be here for the same purpose but if people actually stopped to read a profile to find out if they were what the other party are looking for then there would be no need for mails to go unanswered.

I have tried the polite, thanks but no thanks messages, some have been received well and others have led to abusive messages!Yes, I only had one today, who told me I'd be shite any way! Guess what reply wins out in the end? You guessed it....the no reply as I can't be arsed with the abuse, so single guys! Look at your own behaviour before coming and moaning on the forums!  |

sometimes and it does happen but but the ladies especially since im one of them do get lots of emails and in my case i actually end up in a converssation going back and forth with a few people that at the end of it sometimes you do forget to reply to a few other guys, but when i get the time i actually go through my mail and then do reply back to everyone of them.
what i do see in you is someone that must be on here for a quick fuck n go kind of thing, or a must meet now kind of thing it does help if you got some patience and then the saying of "good things come to those who wait" spring to mind

well I've learned my lesson if you don't get a reply and your mail is deleted and you reply about 6months later you'll probably get blocked which ain't so good !!! |

Lol tbh i think if you havent heard from me the first time its cause ive been distracted by other mail i found one time i had 90 unread emails in the beginning and having had replied to many since then i wondered where the heck they had gone to - it took me 3 weeks to figure it out and then i replied to the ever patient people lol, i think they all dropped down dead afterwards that they got a reply *hehe*
But seriously if you had sent a message to me *just saying* i actually do have a memory like at times and if your message actually stands out and makes me smile then your ound to get a reply even if 6 months has gone down the line |

we reply to messages yip but when i did have a single profile i also replied to most messages ,,except the fancy a shag messages,,they just get deleted but would only block folk that are abusive.
to the op,,if they have deleted your message without getn back,,take it they dont wanna meet and move on,not everyone has the time reply. |

Having read all the posts, would it not be possible for Admin to add a "Thanks but no thanks" button i mean if you can wink at someone by a single press, would it not be prudent to be able to say no thanks with a single button? Just an idea to appease all sides. |

I see the problem and the only real solution is the thanks but no thanks button that carries wording something along the lines of " Thanks but no thanks ,good luck and this member will recieve no further mail from you" culminating in an auto block.Harsh but polite and puts and end to the situation. or am i over thinking this?  |

I think most do over think a knockback, but its the IDIOTS who think that they must send back something either cheeky or illogical('u fat filthy cow,didnt want u anyway' type of message).
but lets not aim tis all at men, plenty of couples single fems do it, but when u have a larger percent of males on the site...ur bound to get the hissyfitters sending stupid mails around.
Remember many are only on the scene to get a shag, they dont care about being a productive member to the site or the scene |

The answer is to allow you to filter messages from those more than 'x' miles away from you. That way only local people would be able to get in touch.
I'm presuming the majority of the 'hundreds' of emails ladies and couples get come from guys a long way away who realistically are simply looking for some wank chat etc.....
You can already filter messages by gender and age group so shouldnt be that hard to filter more.
You will ofcourse still receive mail from people who dont interest you but it should be cut dramatically as very few guys will seriously change their location time and time again in order to send a prospective message.

I tend to get nasty replies if I say no thanks....these maessages are usually "I don't wannna fuck you anyway" or "Your a wee fat cow".....As much as that amuses me it does get boring. No one likes rejection but it usually turns sour with the fuds on fabs.
I do reply to those who have read my profile and fit what i'm looking for..that's a pretty specific type of guy lol. I don't now reply to anyone else....Does that make me a bitch!! Couldn't give a toss really xxx |

This is ridiculous. If someone doesnt reply, take it as a no and move on. I cant understand this viewpoint of its rude not to reply. Maybe if someone never gets messages they dont get why a reply is not forthcoming, but its basic common sense - they're busy, or not interested. And if they're not interested, accept it instead of being childish.
Ffs, get a grip guys, and stop making it harder for the decent ones on here...

I've sent a few emails, have read the profile, and put in a little effort, beyond the 'fancy a fuck' and a cock pic. I've had a fair few no thank you's, which I don't mind at all.
What gets me is the 'instant delete' where I've sent an email to someone online and have gone to check if it's been read, only to find it already deleted within a minute, and it couldn't have been read that quickly.
What I took to doing about it was to block the profile, purely to remind myself not to waste my time on another email in the future, or if some posted pics caught my eye. No uploaded pics will show on my homepage of any blocked profiles. Sound harsh? I just think it stops me from putting my self out there again, only to get ignored.
Too many friendly horny people here to lose sleep about it lol

maybe you ought to think why they've not replied. I mean you say your pretty good with a camera but your pics don't really reflect that. Can't accomodate nine times out of ten really means "married". if beemerman man is anything to do with a car,, well tbh you see the way people in those cars drive. Blitzkrieging they're way through the traffic.
