Ouch, that is ridiculous. If I think of anything I will let you know, you should be able to get somewhere for half that.

" if he drives it would be worth looking outside off Inverness itself across the bridge where I am sure the flat prices would be cheaper or maybe getting in touch with letting agents or even get a hold off the local paper online and go to landlords direct , hope this helps |

"Students can apply for funding to live in the halls. I would go speak to the student services or call them. If not there are a few websites that look for people to flat share with in Inverness "
I couldn't PM which is cool, but but if you could message some websites I would be very grateful thank you |

"Also try SpareRoom not sure if there’s any in inverness but I used it down in London "
That's what I was going to suggest. I found a perfect place on there a few years back when I was between houses.
Good luck! |

Looks in the Culloden/westhill areas are a good place to start, within walking distance. I also know that you can find flatshares and the like on Facebook/gumtree for the area, seen a few there is you have no luck with offical agencies. Lots of home owners who don't want to go through all the hassle of getting a company to lut it up just use Facebook etc. Can't remember the page name now though... sorry. |

Culloden is 20 mins on the bus, 15 min cycle or a 40 min walk from the college so it’s not bad at all |

They're so fussy haha I only had to rent a room at around 18 when I had to move away into the town. Rented rooms for about 3 years before got my own flat with a flatmate. I much preferred renting rooms, so much cheaper and I only had to worry about my own mess! With a flatmate they expect you to clean up their shit too! lol |
