Following a comment on another thread. A friend of mine once said she would rather have five minutes of something real than a lifetime of banality. Regardless of context my dear fabbers what’s your thoughts this fine bank holiday (some places) weekend, enjoy it whatever yer doing  |

Ok sorry, sometimes you end up replying without remembering what you originally said. This came from talking about robin Williams, what made him unique is also what made him flawed. I think we all have a nature that will never change but if people don’t have a good upbringing it makes it difficult for them, I might be wrong |

Ok to clarify... it did follow from the Robin Williams thread but not the way whynotsee has taken it (though he can of course take it any way he likes)
I have a friend who said, in regard to her relationship (but other life situations could apply) that she’d rathef have five minutes of something real than a lifetime of banality. Hope that clears things but if not we can always just move to FPF |

The best relationship I ever had was only around 3 months long. No sex, just happiness. She was from a on old school bring up, not exactly the no sex before marriage type but wasn’t going to let anyone in easily. I must admit though that it never even crossed my mind and never once initiated anything after she said this. I was just happy to be with her
Im not ashamed or embarrassed to say so, but I could quite happily live a sexless life if I felt like I did for those first 2 and half months |
